The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in to this new Cambridge restaurant is the beautiful art deco ambience that seems to be standard with all Ivy chain restaurants. The dimmed lighting sets the mood for a chilled evening with friends but I can imagine is very romantic when visiting as a couple. The interior is just beautiful; artwork adorns the walls, the vibrant colours of the furniture and bold patterns on the floor really make a statement. It’s inviting.
The uniformed staff always present themselves beautifully in their matching white shirts and black waistcoats and are extremely attentive; the bar staff knowledgeable on all drinks and advising on which cocktails to try first! The drinks list includes a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, there is something for even those with the most particularly acquired taste. A favourite cocktails of Tailored Stays has to be the Candy Floss Fizz which is decorated carefully with candy, a sweet sensation!
The waiting staff will always make sure your food is served to the highest of quality and exactly to your tastes complimenting the chefs incredible talents! A separate menu for vegetarians and gluten free options, The Ivy caters for everyone and with so much on the menu you are spoilt for choice. Make sure to leave room for the desert though, the apple pie they awash with liquor and set alight as they place it down on your table is a delight for your taste buds! The restaurant is impeccably clean and gets a five star from us! If you are looking for an appetising lunch or a three course dinner, the Ivy is definitely worth a visit during your stay in Cambridge.
